Yalta
The house-museum of A.Chekhov
The most famous museum in Yalta was created in 1957 by sister of writer - Maria Chakhova. Everything here is the same as used to be many years ago. And also there is a monument to A.Chekhov and his famous character from the novel “The Lady with the dog”.
 
The museum of Lesi Ukrainki
Lesya Ukrainka is the famous Ukrainian poetess that for many years to come was concerned with Yalta resort. The displays of the museums tell about her staying in Crimea and culture of Yalta in XIX-XX centuries.
 
Yalta`s museum of history and literature
There is also hold different exhibitions and wax museum works at summer time.
 
Museum “The glade of fairy tails” is situated in the suburbs of a pearl of Crimea – Yalta. The museum in the open air meets you with characters of the poem “Ruslan and Ludmila” by A.Pushkin. Here you can also find many characters from almost every Russian and Ukrainian fairy tails. Entrance tickets price is about 10-15 UAH. Here you can also find the zoo “Skazka” (“The fairy tail”)
 
The Palace of Alexander III in Massandra is one of the best architectural constructions on the southern coast of the Crimea, dating from the second half of the XIX century. The palace is also known as Stalin's Dacha. Surrounded by a nice little park with a fountain and set like Versailles, this charming summer palace once received the Russian Imperial family of Romanoff. The combination of the palace and park make a wonderful ensemble.
 
Massandra” wine cellar located 3 km to the east of Yalta has a unique wine collection (some of wines is 150 years old). Massandra winery founded in 1936 and nowadays produces one of the best sweet and dessert wines all over Ukraine and Russia. You can have a rest here and taste some marvellous Crimean wine.

Water Park in the Blue Bayentertainment centre that is not only for children, but also for the whole family. Here you can find four pools with equipment and activities for swimmers, children attractions, and bars, serving national dishes. You will definitely spend the whole day enjoying attractions.
 
The Uchan-Su waterfall is located on the northwest part of Yalta outskirt on the highway to Mount Ai-Petri (7 km) in the source of the Waterfall River. Uchan-Su is the biggest of all the Crimean waterfalls (98 m) and the most spectacular one. There is an observation platform on the upper part of the waterfall. That place is called “Eagles’ Nest”. The ancient Greeks called the waterfall “Kremastro-Nero” (“hanging water”), the Turks called it Uchan-Su (“flying water”) and now it is often called simply the Yalta waterfall. The waterfall is very beautiful in spring and in the rainy season.
 
Lenin wharf
The wharf consists of continuous line of attractions, bars, cafes, and restaurants. Near to the Lenin monument is youth favourite place of meeting. The wharf combines different architecture styles and perfectly decorated with Palmas. There are the Post office, International Nautical Club, and a MC Donald’s close to the wharf.

Cable railway
Cable railway starts from the middle of the Lenin wharf up to the Darsan hill. The trip on a cable car does not take a long time but it’s very dynamic and rich. You should definitely take a camera or camcorder with you. There is also famous WWII cenotaph (erected in 1967) located on the hill of Slava, to the east from Darsan hill.
