National Art Museum

The collection of the museum was started by the Kiev Association of Antiquities and Fine Arts Lovers (late 19th century). The collection of museum is more then 73 000 works of art. They are fabrics, tapestries, embroideries, pottery, woodcarvings, decorative glass, porcelain and glazed pottery, "pysanky" (Easter eggs). In 1990s is the very first time when the museum collection was demonstrated in the famous museums and exhibition halls of Canada, France, Denmark and Croatia. As a result, many unknown artists found themselves as members of the world’s elite.
