KHRESCHATYK PARK
 M. « Maidan Nezalezhnosti » , Kiev A cultural and entertainment complex was established here by Kyiv merchants in 1881. The Merchants' Garden enclosed a summer theatre, a summer club and a concert stage. There is the monument Arch of Friendship - a gigantic arch in the shape of a metal rainbow 30 meters in diameter, with the bronze figures of a Russian and Ukrainian worker holding a granite image of the participants of the Pereyaslavska Rada of 1654. There is a sightseeing platform with remarkable view on the river and Podil.
MARIYNSKIY PARK 
M. « Arsenalna » , Kiev
The park was named after the Empress Maria Alexandrovna. She provided funds for laying out park there. The park has a special atmosphere filled with majestic peace and conducive to relaxation.
THE A. FOMIN BOTANICAL GARDEN 
M. « Universytet » , Kiev
The garden was organized by Kyiv University in 1839. It is contains a collection of more than 8,000 plant species, including 143 species which are in Ukraine 's Red Book of rare species. Visitors are attracted by the immense 30-meter high glass environmental chamber, which contains the oldest species of palm trees in Ukraine . The garden occupies an area of 22, 5 hectares. It is a pleasant place for walking and recreation. The “University” metro station lies right near the garden.

HOLOSIYIVSKIY PARK 
This is one of the largest parks in Kiev , measuring about 150 hectares. Four lakes, a sport complex, amusement grounds and the museum of the work and life of the Ukrainian poet Maxim Rylsky make it an excellent place for recreation and relaxation.
