Kiev is the capital of Ukraine. According to the ancient legend Kiev was founded by the three brothers Kyi, Schek and Khoryv and their sister Lybid. And it was named after the eldest brother Kyi. It is located on the banks of Dnipro River that flows into the Black Sea . Kiev has developed into a valuable center of East Europe which has, more than 2,000 historical, cultural and architecture monuments.
