Genoese fortress
Do not miss old walls of Genoese and later Turkish fortress - Kafa. There are several towers (partially ruined) and an old well. Well is an object of note as Crimea peninsular is scanty in water resources - no springs, no rivers.

Novy svet is one of the beautiful places of Crimea peninsula, situated to the west of Sudak. The ancient name is “Paradisio” (Paradise). There is beautiful landscape: picturesque bays – Novosvetskaya, Green, Blue, Dark Blue, huge mountains and so uncommon for Crimea - juniper groves. Novy Svet with its mild climate is the best place for secluded rest. There is famous “Tsar Beach” called in the name of the last Russian tsar Nikolay II.

The house-museum of poet M. Voloshun is situated on the wharf of picturesque resort Koktebel. At present time it is the biggest and most attended museum in Crimea. The collection of 18,7 thousands works of art is collected here.

The museum of gliding was established in Koktebel (former name is “Planerskoe”) and now is used as an original glider club. It has become popular because of many designers, pilots and gliders always take a vacation to Koktebel.

The Kara-Dag reserve on the coast of Crimea, between the village of Kurortnoye and the resort of Koktebel, is one of those places where, whatever your religion is, you can feel the hand of the Creator at work. Indescribably beautiful, this unique Jurassic landscape is the result of an extinct volcano, which thousands of years ago spewed lava and debris into the sea. The elements have weathered the volcanic rocks into fantastic shapes and produced flora and wildlife unique to this part of Crimea. The symbol of Kara-dag - Golden Gate – cliffy arch, situated 80 meters from the cost. In the beginning of summer sun highlights and it become canary-coloured, that is why is called Golden Gate.

The museum of Aivasovsky
Feodosia is the place were the most famous painter of seascapes in the world lived and worked. There is a house-museum of Aivazovsky with big art gallery in the centre of the town. It is really worth to visit.
Entrance fee: adult – 10 UAH, student – 5 UAH, children under 7 – free.
Guide service: adult – 15 UAH, Student – 7,5 UAH.
Opening hours: 10.00-17.00, on Tuesday 10.00-14.00, Wednesday – day off.
